Privacy Policy

TECH THREEE ("we", "us") sets out below its policy (the "Policy") on the handling of user information at frontend-practical.dev (the "Site").

This English text is a reference translation provided for convenience. The Japanese version is the authoritative text; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Japanese version prevails.

Article 1 (Basic policy)

The Site is a static website with no registration or account features. We do not collect personal information such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, or email addresses through forms completed by users.

We handle information obtained through operation of the Site appropriately and in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws of Japan.

The conditions for using the Site are set out in our Terms of Service.

Article 2 (Information we collect)

We collect the following information when the Site is used:

  1. Access logs: the server hosting the Site automatically records IP addresses, user agents, referrers, access timestamps, and the URLs of pages viewed.
  2. Information collected through analytics: as described in Article 4, we collect information such as pages viewed, time spent, referral sources, browser, device type, and approximate region through Google Analytics.
  3. Settings stored in the browser: the display language selected by the user is stored in the browser's localStorage. This information is not transmitted to our servers.

Article 3 (Information we do not collect)

  1. The Site has no account registration or contact form, so we never ask users to enter names, email addresses, or similar information on the Site itself.
  2. Code entered into the Playground and demo features is executed solely within the user's browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
  3. We do not collect credit card details or any other payment information.

Article 4 (Cookies and analytics)

To understand how the Site is used and to improve its content, we use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, both provided by Google LLC.

  1. Google Analytics uses cookies to measure user activity on the Site. The information collected includes pages viewed, time spent, referral sources, IP addresses, and user agents.
  2. This information is collected and processed by Google. For details of how Google handles it, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and to "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services".
  3. We use information obtained through Google Analytics solely to analyze usage of the Site and to improve it.
  4. Users may refuse this collection by disabling cookies in their browser settings, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provided by Google.

As of the effective date of this Policy, we do not serve advertising on the Site. Should we introduce advertising in the future, we will amend this Policy and state in advance what it involves and what choices are available to users.

Article 5 (Embedded third-party services)

Some pages of the Site embed a development environment provided by StackBlitz (WebContainers). When such a page is displayed, communication occurs between the user's browser and StackBlitz, and StackBlitz may collect information independently.

The handling of that information is governed by StackBlitz's own privacy policy, for which we accept no responsibility.

Article 6 (Purposes of use)

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  1. To operate, maintain, and reliably provide the Site
  2. To understand and analyze how the Site is used, and to improve its content
  3. To detect and prevent unauthorized access and other improper conduct
  4. To respond to enquiries from users

Article 7 (Disclosure to third parties)

We do not disclose the information we collect to third parties except in the following cases:

  1. Where the user has consented
  2. Where required by law
  3. Where necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent
  4. Where cooperation is necessary for a national or local government body, or a party commissioned by such a body, to carry out functions prescribed by law, and obtaining the user's consent risks impeding those functions

Collection of information by the providers of the analytics and embedded services described above, under their own terms, does not constitute disclosure to a third party under this Article.

Article 8 (Security measures)

We take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of the information we collect, and to otherwise manage it securely.

The Site uses HTTPS on all pages to encrypt communications.

Article 9 (Disclosure, correction, and deletion requests)

Users may request the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of disclosure to third parties of their own personal information held by us.

Please submit such requests through the contact form on our operator site (techthreee.jp). We will verify that the request comes from the individual concerned and respond within a reasonable period in accordance with applicable law.

Article 10 (Changes to this Policy)

We may amend this Policy in response to changes in the law or to the features of the Site.

The amended Policy takes effect when published on the Site. Where an amendment materially affects users' rights, we will allow a reasonable notice period.
