  3. The Service requires no registration and is provided free of charge.

Article 2 (Nature of the content and disclaimer of accuracy)

  1. The content of the Site is automatically retrieved, processed, and restructured by software we have written, drawing on third-party sources including web-features, @mdn/browser-compat-data, MDN Web Docs, the OWASP Cheat Sheet Series, and W3C specifications. Machine translation is used for part of the translated text.
  2. Because of the above, the Site does not reproduce the original sources verbatim. Content may lag behind updates to the original sources, and translation may introduce differences in meaning. For the most current and accurate information, please refer to the source cited on each page.
  3. Browser support information (Baseline status and compatibility data) reflects the state at the time the data was retrieved and may differ from actual browser behavior.
  4. We make no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the information published on the Site.

Article 3 (Copyright and licensing)

  1. The content of the Site incorporates works published by third parties under open licenses, including CC BY-SA 4.0, CC BY-SA 2.5, CC BY 4.0, Apache-2.0, CC0 1.0, and the W3C Document License. Each data source and its license is listed on the Licenses & attribution page.
  2. Users who reproduce, modify, or redistribute content from the Site must comply with the terms of the license applicable to the original work, including any attribution and share-alike obligations.
  3. Except as provided in the preceding paragraphs, rights in the Site's own design, source code, structure, and written commentary belong to us.

Article 4 (Conditions for using the Playground and demos)

  1. The Site provides a feature that executes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript entered by the user in the browser (the "Playground").
  2. Code entered into the Playground is executed solely within the user's browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
  3. The Playground executes code inside a sandboxed iframe and performs a basic inspection of the input. These measures do not guarantee safety, and users run code at their own risk.
  4. The Playground can receive initial code through URL query parameters. Users must not create or distribute such URLs for the purpose of causing detriment or damage to third parties.
  5. Users must not enter personal data, credentials, or other confidential information into the Playground.
  6. We accept no liability for any damage arising from code executed in the Playground.

Article 5 (Prohibited conduct)

Users must not engage in any of the following when using the Service:

  1. Conduct that violates laws or public order and morals
  2. Conduct connected with criminal activity
  3. Infringing the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of the Site or of third parties
  4. Destroying or interfering with the functioning of the Site's servers or network
  5. Gaining or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Site
  6. Conduct that may interfere with the operation of the Site
  7. Executing code in the Playground that causes detriment, damage, or offense to third parties, or distributing such code as a URL of the form described in Article 4, Paragraph 4
  8. Impersonating us or any third party
  9. Automated collection of information from the Site that places an excessive load on our servers
  10. Any other conduct that we deem inappropriate

Article 6 (Suspension of the Service)

We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to users if we determine that any of the following applies:

  1. Maintenance, inspection, or updating of the systems underlying the Site
  2. Force majeure such as earthquake, lightning, fire, power failure, or natural disaster making provision of the Service difficult
  3. Failure of computers or communication lines due to an accident
  4. Any other circumstance in which we determine that provision of the Service is difficult

We accept no liability for any disadvantage or damage suffered by users or third parties as a result of such suspension or interruption.

Article 7 (Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability)

  1. We make no warranty, express or implied, that the Service is free from defects in fact or in law, including defects in safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, or security, or from errors, bugs, or infringement of rights.
  2. We accept no liability for any damage suffered by users arising from the Service, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence. However, this exclusion does not apply where these Terms constitute a consumer contract under the Consumer Contract Act of Japan.
  3. Even in the case described in the proviso to the preceding paragraph, we accept no liability for damage arising from special circumstances caused by our non-performance or tort attributable to our negligence (excluding gross negligence).
  4. Users are responsible for their own technical decisions, designs, implementations, and any resulting consequences arising from their use of information published on the Site.

Article 8 (Third-party services and links)

  1. The Site contains links to websites operated by third parties and embeds services provided by third parties, including StackBlitz WebContainers and Google Tag Manager.
  2. We make no warranty as to the content, terms, availability, accuracy, or legality of third-party websites and services.
  3. We accept no liability for damage suffered by users as a result of changes to, interruption of, discontinuation of, or failures in third-party services, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 9 (Handling of personal information)

The handling of information obtained through use of the Service is governed by our separate Privacy Policy.

Article 10 (Changes to the Service)

We may change, add to, or discontinue the content of the Service without prior notice to users. We accept no liability for damage suffered by users as a result, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 11 (Changes to these Terms)

We may amend these Terms without obtaining the individual consent of users where:

  1. the amendment serves the general interest of users; or
  2. the amendment is not contrary to the purpose for which the Service is used and is reasonable in light of the necessity for the amendment, the appropriateness of the amended content, and other relevant circumstances.

When making such an amendment, we will publish the amended Terms and the date on which they take effect on the Site before that date.

Users who use the Service on or after the effective date are deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 12 (Claims of rights infringement)

If you believe that content published on the Site infringes your rights, please contact us through the contact form on our operator site (techthreee.jp), including the following information. We will carry out any necessary investigation and take such measures as we deem appropriate.

  1. The name and contact details of the claimant
  2. The nature of the right concerned
  3. The reasons why you consider it to be infringed, and the URLs concerned
  4. Documentation confirming that you are the rights holder or a duly authorized agent

Article 13 (Severability)

If any provision of these Terms, or any part of a provision, is held invalid or unenforceable under the Consumer Contract Act of Japan or any other law, the remainder of that provision and all other provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

Article 14 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  2. In the event of a dispute concerning the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
